OAL was awarded contracts to supply complete turnkey automation services and electrical equipment for the re-automation and upgrade of the cellar/tank farm areas of an East Asian brewery. The project included the installation of a larger storage area tank farm, the integration of third party equipment with the new central control system, the replacement of the existing centralised I-O with de-centralised I-O. The contact allowed for the migration from the old to the new control system on a staggered basis with very limited “downtime”.
 
OAL awarded contracts to supply turnkey automation and electrical services to the Brewing Industry;
Beer processing and CIP systems for a new Canning line.
Control of yeast cooler systems
Control of new de-aeration and the software upgrade of old de-aeration systems.
Conditioning project including blending, gravity adjustment, clarification and filtration processes for a leading world class brewery, based in Ireland.
Control of waste yeast recovery and re-processing systems.
 
OAL continues to provide software development, validation, IQ, OQ services to a leading supplier of process equipment to the pharmaceutical industry.
 
OAL continues to achieve sales in the Japanese market. A turnkey automation solution was supplied for the expansion of an Aseptic Mineral water plant with the latest visualisation and Mitsubishi control technology.
 
OAL has supplied HMI solutions to a client who generates power from methane gas. The HMI provides visualisation of the generation equipment as well as alarm logging, fault diagnostic and trending. This enables the client to schedule the generator operation. On-line monitoring of the remote sites is also available.

OAL hire two new Automation Engineers - Automation team now at 9 FTE.

2007-2008

Ouncel Automation Ltd. (OAL) continues to provide project management, software development, validation, IQ,OQ services to leading suppliers of process equipment to the pharmaceutical industry.

OAL experiences strong sales in the Japanese market. Contracts were awarded to supply turnkey automation solutions for a new Aseptic Mineral water plant and a new soft drinks, syrup and low alcohol blending systems to the Japanese Brewing and Distilling industry. Turnkey automation is provided for a new Nano and Micro Filtration facility for a leading Japanese Dairy company.

OAL continues the upgrade of a leading East Asian Brewery by replacing automation hardware and software controlling the entire fermentation tank farm facility. The commissioning team fulfilled the project goal of a changeover within a very short production down time.

OAL provides automation project management services and GAMP 4 implementation expertise to a leading supplier of process equipment to the pharmaceutical industry.

OAL provide project management services for ERP project for Irish telecommunications provider.

OAL provides automation engineering, software development and validation services for an aseptic mineral water plant in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan.

OAL executed Phase 1 Control System upgrade for an East Asia Brewery, replacing in one day the PLC controlling three beer filtration lines, high gravity blending systems, Bright Beer Storage Tanks and filtration make-up systems.

OAL complete blending project for well known Irish brewery using Rockwell ControlLogix involving:

2005

Workforce doubled in Ouncel Automation Ltd. (OAL)

OAL awarded a contact to upgrade SCADA control system for a leading carbonated soft drinks company in Sanyo, Japan.

OAL awarded contracts to supply automation engineering, development and commissioning services in two different sites for a leading East Asian Brewery:
• Rest Beer Pasteurizer
• Storage Vessel process optimization
• Silica Gel dosing for beer filtration plant

2004

Ouncel is selected by Beamish and Crawford Plc to refurbish their beer filter room. The project involves supply and installation of new process equipment along with a re-automation of the filter line including filters and beer carbonation systems.

2003
Ouncel Automation Ltd. (OAL) is contracted by Coca Cola (Drogheda Concentrates) to provide automation (GAMP4) and project management services for Process Automation Shop Floor Infrastructure Project.

OAL provided project management services and GAMP 4 implementation expertise for Air Handling Process supplied to a leading Bio-Pharmaceutical plant in Dublin.

OAL awarded contract for project involving dissolving, pasteurization and proportional blending of new ingredient in liqueur plant. This project involves Siemens WinCC SCADA package and S7 PLC’s.

Ouncel Process & Automation awarded contracts project design and process optimisation project for Beamish & Crawford in :

• Re-design of deaerated liquor system
• New hop-dosing system
